REMINDER: I don’t want any “HE COULD BE A PEDO, DONT YOU DARE MEET ANYONE ONLINE” i know, what he looks like, i voice chat with him everytime i play call of duty with him, ive met his little bro, talked to his irl friends, mkay? Hes real….
This might be a bit long so hear me out.
I play ALOT of Call of Duty:Black Ops for a girl. I meet friends on there all the time, but ive never had this type of connection with one. About two months ago, i decided i wanted to switch it up a bit, play a wager match, and my choice was “gun game” i come into the lobby and meet this guy, we hit it off add each other to our PSN(playstation network) friends list. Well the next night he invites me to play TDM(team deathmatch) with him. Im playin on there with him, and we keep this up for about a week, become really close and decide to add each other on FB, when he first sees what i look like he said he didn’t expect me to be pretty like that. After about 3 weeks since first meeting, he lets me join his clan. Im the ONLY girl in the clan, and im the only one is isnt very good, and doesnt live where they are all from. He always defends me when other guys are talking trash, we have inside jokes, and such. I really like him and he asked me for my number so he can text me. So we text each other alot mainly about the game. About 3 weeks ago on a saturday night he calls me at 2am asking if i can get on, im so sleepy and deny it until he says “i wanted to play with my bestest cod buddy tho”, so i get on and play till 4:30(only 2:30 where he lives) in the morning. And i didnt regret it when i had to wake up at 8 
. Well last night, he asked me to be his girlfriend, i was hesitant, as going off pictures is hard(hes getting an iphone 4 n i already have one so we can facetime). I accepted. He told me this would work and it could. I hate the fact he lives 1000 miles away. I want to be with him so bad and same of him with me. I just need opinions of my situation. I want to meet him someday too.

I just got an Htc Legend, and I thought that the market would be very similar to the apple app store but, I can clearly see there is a lot less aplications… so i searched online for fun games on the Android M. i saw “modern combat” i tried looking for it on my phone, “no results” i tried downloading it from gameloft.com…but, i see the HTC Legend is not even on the list of phone on gameloft,(But the HTC legend does have android) for some reason it just doesent appear, so i cant download anything… HELP

It is like Apple App Store. I believe they are working on a web-based store as well. There are many many Android App marketplaces websites you can also take a look http://www.digi-go.com/android/

Many times I’ve called, my boyfriend tells me “I’ll call you back in 5 minutes, let me finish this video game,” and will call an hour later.
Once, he put me on hold for “5 minutes” I waited 40 minutes, yelled into the phone, hung up 5 minutes later. Three hours later, he calls: “I totally forgot, I got so caught up in this video game..”
Soon he will be late for dates, due to this immature video game obsession. We’ve been together for a year and a half, and he had never been into video games up until recently..
He is 22 years old. Is it time for me to tell him he needs to set his priorities straight? Guys, how would you feel if your girlfriend wanted you to cool it a little? Not stop, just play LESS.

No. That’s like… telling girls never to put up any make up anymore. Games are like… well, some guys drink beer, some use drugs, and we, gamers, slackers and nerds alike, need games. It’s like oxygen to us !! You are a hard woman !
Seriously, games are harmless. Tell him about it, but if he gives in he is not a real gamer at all.

And for the record, I’d feel as if she doesn’t love me, and it’d be better if the relationship was over.

I was seeing her for a month times were great, and later she started to turn into a ***** even though i was there for her during good/bad times. She wanted an iphone badly, and i said i would get it for her later if she got good grades and she did. I was supposed to meet up with her last night and surprise her with the phone after our date, but instead she didn’t come out she ignored me not the 1st time either!.
I’m totally done!.. I’m going to send her this txt along with the iphone pic saying “I was going to give this to you last night as a surprise. But apparently i don’t mean very much to you, and i really thought you were different from all the girls. I been keeping it real with you all along, and I’m really done with these games”.
How would you feel if a guy txt you that??

My ex and I broke up going on 5 months now. She’s sick and twisted and I’ve even had to call the cops because I had to rip a knife out of her hand. She even broke on of my mach 3 razors and took one of the blades out and starting cutting herself with it because I was leaving her. Ever since we split, though, she’s been trying to ruin my life. She filed for an OFP against me and it was denied because the judge didn’t believe her lies. Well, I got punched by one of my “great friends” because he was trying to get on my ex when he was pretending to be a “mediator” to help me get along with my x so I could see me daughter more. Well he has a wife and was messing around with my ex and screwing a big fat girl on the side. I reported him for putting 7 stitches in my eye and he told the police I was so drunk I fell. Not true. Well, I allowed my ex to have a restraining order as long as it wouldn’t make me look bad and they are playing games /w me. They are making fake facebook accounts in my name and sending her messages from “me” apologizing for “beating” her when I never did. It gets worse. I was over at a friend’s house using his phone and I was talking to other friends. Somehow they got text messages and phone calls from that phone “from me” when I would never risk it. The courts were on my side and so was the evidence. My ex friend’s wife told me that she’d testify against him that he said he punched me and was going to lie to the cops. Yesterday, my friend gets a call from the sheriff’s department saying that I was in deep shit and I had broke a restraining order and actually threatened to kick a deputy’s ass. I never once called my ex nor threatened anyone. What can I do? Are the cops going to be kicking down my door? Or do they have to arraign me? I mean, I’ve never done anything like this. They were threatening prison time. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Oh, I live in Minnesota.

No matter what you are accused of, no one can arrest you not unless there is real proof of a unlawful deed. They cannot arrest you on someones phone call that “this guy is scaring me”etc.. They can only talk to you. But don’t make the mistake of saying something or doing something stupid so they can arrest you. If you have broken a law, then you will be arrested for whatever it is. But the police must have sufficient proof of a case. You have a crazy thing going on, but I have seen a similar thing, and it was just as messed up. Cops can not do anything without proof of threat or the actual attempt.

I didn’t know that it was available for iPad until December 7, 2011. The iPad version looks great, but I have a problem; will they be making a version for the iPhone or iPod Touch? I play an iPhone app. Letters are randomly generated on a 5×5 grid, and my job is to find words. The app lets me know if this is a rich set of letters by indicating how many available words could be found if I found them all. I skip the screen and hit “new game” if that number is low, since I want a fun game where I can find a lot of words. I like to play when there are 1000 or more.
My question: does it matter how many times i ask for a new screen before I get a 1,000 screen?
In other words, imagine that my friend is also refreshing his screen constantly until he gets a 1,000 screen, but he’s more eager and goes twice as fast as I do. Is he twice as likely to encounter screens over 1,000?

The answer to your final question is NO.
Each time you refresh, the probability of you finding a favorable screen of over 1,000 is the same regardless of how fast you’re doing it.
What I think you’re asking is “Will my friend get more screens over 1,000?”. The answer to that is YES.
If the chances of a good screen are 1 in 10. And your friend refreshes at a rate of 20 screens per minutes and you only refresh at 10 screens per minute. Then after one minute, he will have found 2 screens over 1,000 and you will have only found 1 (theoretically).

I am fixing to purchase a new computer (due to the red screen of death my current PC has), and am trying to decide if I should make the move to MAC. I have never used a MAC before or even been in the same room as one. I recently got a iPhone and am so impressed with Apple. I’m not a computer expert and am just a very basic user. The only things I do currently on my PC are pay bills, online banking, iTunes, Facebook, and web surfing which mainly consists of searching craigslist. I am not a “gamer” except the occasional bejeweled game on Facebook. I’ve read online that the virus issues are not as big of a deal with MAC as it is when PC and that’s a huge draw to me as I’ve had plenty of virus issues with PC’s over the years. Is it complicated to learn the differences between PC and MAC? Does any one have any advice?

Macs are practically PC’s which cost double as much just because they have an Apple logo on their back. They are also much more limited than normal PC’s. It’s true that Macs have a lower chance of getting viruses, but if you’re a basic user you really shouldn’t even get any viruses at all anyway, and if you do, a format which takes around 20 minutes will put your computer back as new. Many people are paranoid about viruses and most times when they think they have a virus, they don’t have any viruses at all.

I’m really scared, I got my iPhone 4s about 4 weeks ago and I’ve only given out my numbers to my parents and 1 friend (they would never give out my number). So i checked my messages and there was a message from a person who said “got some drinks, let’s go grab some and drink” or something like that, the second one was a person who said “reply if you want tix to a game” something like that. I don’t know if this will help but the area code was the same as mine!!! Can someone help? I’m really scared!

Most carriers are recycling phone numbers more quickly due to a shortage or phone numbers, chances are its the person who previously owned that number who those texts are for, call up your carrier explain to them your situation and get your number changed, or keep telling people that text and call you that, the previous owner is no longer at this number until they go away.
