I’d like to get an electronic game for my 9 yr old who has ADD….?
Question by : I’d like to get an electronic game for my 9 yr old who has ADD….?
…She needs something to hold her interest. Any good ideas
I want to get her something that she will have fun playing and at the same time, something that will challenge her and allow her to use her concentration. She loves to play the game on my cell phone “Brick Breaker” so I would like to find something similar for her that she can play when she gets bored. Any ideas would really be welcome! Thank you.

ds lego beauty set idk i dont know your daughter
Seeing as she has ADD, I can’t really recommend any RPGs (such as Pokemon or Final Fantasy); she’d lose interest pretty with those. Worry not; I know I can find something for your daughter.
“Picross DS” is a good puzzle game with a simple premise: fill in the correct squares to complete a picture. It’s good for basic math and spatial recognition. You can find it at GameStop/EB Games for about $ 7.99
“Rhythm Heaven” for the DS is another good game. It’s a collection of several dozen original mini-games, each running at about 2-3 minutes apiece. Every game uses the Nintendo DS’s touch screen for input, and uses tapping, holding, and flicking of the stylus to keep with the beat of each minigame. You can find it for $ 17.99 at GameStop.
Then, of course, you have the “Wario Ware” series. You can find games on the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, the Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo Wii. In “Wario Ware”, you play a series of 5-10 second-long “microgames”. The longer you play before getting a “Game Over”, the faster it gets, giving you less and less time to finish the microgame. Prices range from $ 10-30, depending on the game.
Hopefully you can find something to keep your daughter occupied. Best of luck to you.
